The Sabot Stronger Fund
The Sabot Stronger Fund is Sabot’s vital annual fund, providing unrestricted support that empowers our school to respond dynamically to the emerging needs and interests of our students. This fund sustains our student-driven curriculum, strengthens tuition assistance, invests in professional development, and enhances our campus—ensuring that Sabot remains a place where children’s ideas, voices, and learning experiences thrive.
As unrestricted funds, your contributions to the Sabot Stronger Fund allow Sabot to adapt and respond to emerging priorities and unique opportunities throughout the year. Your support directly enriches student experiences, sustains essential programs, and ensures that Sabot continues providing a progressive, child-centered, dynamic education.
We are grateful for your support!

How the Sabot Stronger Fund Directly Impacts Your Child's Educational Experience:
- Emergent Curriculum: Sabot’s curriculum is standards-based yet flexible, shaped by our children's curiosity. Teachers begin the year with broad curricular goals, allowing space for students' interests to guide learning. The Sabot Stronger Fund ensures resources are always available—whether that means purchasing specialized equipment for science experiments, investing in materials like 3D printers or pottery wheels, or bringing authors, musicians, artists, and innovative thinkers to campus. The Sabot Stronger Fund empowers our students to explore deeply and think boldly wherever their inquiry leads.
- Tuition Assistance: Sabot’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion is strengthened by tuition assistance. The Sabot Stronger Fund supplements our ability to welcome families from a broader range of backgrounds, enriching the fabric of our community and fostering an environment of inclusive learning for all children.
- Professional Development: At Sabot, great teaching means continuous learning. The Sabot Stronger Fund supports professional development opportunities, allowing faculty to attend and present at local, national, and international conferences, including the North American Reggio Emilia Alliance (NAREA) and the NAIS People of Color Conference (POCC). Additionally, funding provides access to classes, specialized workshops, and professional literature. Our educators remain at the forefront of progressive education, continually refining and deepening their practice of child-led learning and the Reggio Emilia Approach®.
- Campus Enhancements: Safe, engaging, and inspiring learning spaces are essential to Sabot’s mission. The Sabot Stronger Fund enables continuous improvement and innovation across campus—from Maker Spaces and libraries to gardens, science labs, playgrounds, and enhanced security systems. These enhancements ensure our facilities support our educational philosophy, fostering creativity, exploration, and collaboration.
