so that it doesn’t get too unwieldy.

Note: The tribal section of this constitution is not just one section.
Your tribe can have whatever rules you want as long as it follows this constitution and the mission.
Whole Group
- Everybody makes simple decisions for themselves (if decisions are necessary). Most are for your sake. Some decisions are based on your job.
Fifthocracy inspiration
Simple decisions are decisions that don’t affect other people (or if they don’t care).
- If your problem/conflict etc. is not only a one person deal but doesn’t need to be discussed by the whole group, try to figure it out yourselves. If that doesn’t work, ask a teacher, then Ann.

- The class votes on complicated important decisions with a heads down hands up vote.
Democracy inspiration
Complicated decisions are decisions that will affect more than four people (if they care).
- If you think your idea is something to vote on but the majority doesn’t agree, write legislation for it, and propose it to the group.

- We have a representative Democracy in no-man’s-land. 1 representative per tribe with 2 as an option for a 4+ member tribe.

- Each tribe can make their own decisions on their property as long as it doesn’t affect other tribes.

- There is a no man’s land place where tribes can trade and buy with/from each other.
Nolan, Lorenzo, Reese inspiration
- Choose tribes by whom you work well with and who you agree with.
Tom, Dillon, Emu, Lorenzo inspiration
- If your tribe agrees, you may (you don’t have to) have a chief to organize the tribe and captain it.
Oliver inspiration
- If you want to leave your tribe you may just walk out (but also tell all tribe members) unless you’re a chief. If you are a chief, you must get permission from the majority of your tribe and come to a conclusion (which means get a new chief or make a new system).
- In order to amend the constitution, you must write a legislation and have three sponsors before you can present it to the whole group. If you can present it, you must have the supermajority (9+) to pass the amendment.
- The people who will moderate the meeting are Marla and Kristin or their representatives (subs).
- Follow mission on anything else.

Tribal
- If two or more tribes disagree they either make trials that the tribes agree on or they hold court with a representative from each tribe involved.
Lorenzo inspiration
- If any person wants to join a tribe, they must sign this constitution and give a reason why they want to join. The members that are already in the tribe will talk to see if someone can join. If they can’t join the tribe, then the members already in would have to have a legitimate reason.

- The tribe will ally with other tribes if all members (including the other tribe) agree to it.

- If you go into another’s tribe’s property, you must follow their rules. So what land you are on determines what rules you follow.

- There is no maximum or minimum requirement for how many people there can be in a tribe.

Please join us for an evening with acclaimed artist Hamilton Glass and local muralists as they present their Emmy Award-winning documentary, Mending Walls: A Healing Art Project. The event will be held at Sabot School and is open to the entire Richmond community. This “pay what you can” event will raise funds to support a Sabot School student workshop led by Hamilton Glass, where students will learn about the Mending Walls project and processes and create a collaborative mural.
